SOLID SHAPES

This week, we are learning about the characteristics of solid geometric figures. The last couple of weeks, we studied plane shapes. Solid figures consist of a variety of angles, faces, vertices, and edges. Ask your child to identify these shapes around the house, as well as the characteristics. We are reading a really fun story called, "Watermelon Day." With this story, we are learning words that start and end with the /gn/, /kn/ sound as well as the /wr/ sound. We are also summarizing content within text. HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK!
